Why do my breasts feel so heavy and painful?
My breasts are feeling very heavy and every time I touch them they really hurt. I am definitely not pregnant since my period has been regular. Should I go for a mammogram?

This could be due to hormonal effect. Are you taking birth control pills? How old are you?
Is there any change in color? See your PCP. You may need antibiotics. If no sign of infection, you may need breast US if you are less than 40 yrs old/ or both mammo and US.
