• Can a chiropractor help me manage my hernia pain?

I am having a lot of hernia pain even after receiving treatments. Can a chiropractor help me manage this pain?

That depends on the type of hernia. An abdominal hernia can only be treated surgically. A hiatal hernia can be helped by a chiropractor.

If your hernia is contained and not causing any discomfort and if it’s painful after doing physical work or lifting otherwise hernias are weakness of the inguinal wall or the groin if it gets larger it can place pressures on nerves and cause extreme pain. If the pain is constant and the hernia continues to enlarge you may want to have it surgically corrected.
