Some anesthetic medication can provoke brochospasm which can contribute to asthma attack

Yes, but it depends on what surgery you are having and how long you would be exposed to inhaled general anesthetics. For a healthy person the effects on respiration are almost always insignificant.

In pacu after general anesthesia some patients could develop breathing problems. Especially those with asthma, smokers, copd, etc. But we are prepared to deal with these problems.
