• Can my daughter outgrow juvenile arthritis?

When my daughter was diagnose with juvenile arthritis, we were a little devastated, and felt that she would have this condition for the rest of her life. But because we're managing it, we are noticing that she has improved a lot. Is it possible that she can grow out of it?

I assume that she had proper testing with a rheumatologist. Your best answer comes from getting ongoing testing and follow up. Please consult her rheumatologist, who is an expert and has all the research to back up and experience to answer your question.

She can have long periods of remission, especially with treatment. But she still needs to be followed closely. This is a chronic condition.
