• Can I have children without a bladder?

I was actually born without a bladder and my doctors had put a orthotopic neobladder inside me. Is it possible for me to have children without a bladder?

As long as your uterus, Fallopian tubes and ovaries are functioning normally you should have no issues.

Yes you should be able to. However it will quite challenging and will require a joint co-management with your primary Ob, your urologist and perinatologist. Preferably at a tertiary level of care.

If you have a uterus that is healthy then it is possible to have a child. The neobladder shouldn’t affect that.

Possibly. It depends on whether you have other anomalies with your uterus, vagina or ovaries. You should see a gynecologist who can review your records and do an exam and pelvic ultrasound.

Yes, you can. I have a patient who has 3 children. All by C-section. I needed help from a urologist to get to the uterus without disrupting her artificial bladder. Otherwise, all is fine

Yes unless damage has been caused to your reproductive organs.
