Can people over 80 handle anesthesia?
My elderly mother needs anesthesia for a procedure. Is it safe for someone her age?

If she is in good and stable condition, she should be fine. Some risks are inherent to the elderly. Talk to her internist or cardio. Also, an interview about anesthesia is very important.
