I am a 45 year old male. I want to know if you can have a heart attack with a normal heart rate?

There is no relationship between heart attack and heart rate. In other words, you can have a heart attack with a slow, normal, or fast heart rate.

Yes, you can. Heart rate abnormalities and coronary artery disease are sometimes related, it’s called arrhythmia. Not all the heart attacks will have arrhythmia.

Yes. Heart rate is like listening to the car engine idling. If you smoke, have a family history of heart disease, elevated cholesterol, have diabetes or high blood pressure, or overweight/sedentary lifestyle you can get narrowing off the arteries. Yes. Heart rate to a certain extent has nothing to do with a heart attack. A heart attack is caused by a clot in one of the coronary arteries that supply blood flow to the heart muscle.
