• Should I be careful about medications with mitral valve prolapse?

I'm 40 years old, male. My doctor said that I had mitral valve prolapse for several years, but it's not severe enough for treatment. Should I worry about taking certain medications though? Like are there any that could damage my heart or make my condition worse?

Most medications do not affect valve prolapse, but it is good to have well-controlled blood pressure.
