• Is cold milk a good option for acid reflux?

My husband frequently has acid reflux in the evenings. He doesn't want to overtake acid reducers. Is cold milk a good option?

No, it's not. Drinking milk has minimal ability to buffer stomach acid and actually will produce more acid. Better to use Tums, Pepcid, or other antacids.

Milk can cause increased acid secretion.
