How does deep brain stimulation treat Parkinson's?
My grandmother has Parkinson's disease and her and her doctor are discussing deep brain stimulation to help treat it. How does it work?

Neuromodulation is using electrical stimulation to affect a functional network in the brain. No it is a modulation not a cure so far but it can help in addition to other tools like exercise and medication
