I am a 29 year old male and I have conjunctivitis. Do I need to see a doctor if I have conjunctivitis?

Occasionally conjunctivitis will go away on its own. If it persists, becomes painful, or causes vision loss, consultation is recommended.

Would depend on how you came to the conclusion that you have conjunctivitis. There are also many different types of conjunctivitis, some of which are benign, others of which are vision threatening. If you have eye pain, decreased vision, light sensitivity, it may be prudent to see a doctor.

Hi,

Yes, please see an eye doctor. You could be infected and may need treatment.
