• Do excessive greens cause kidney failure?

I read in an article recently that having excessive greens in your diet could increase potassium levels in the body and in turn cause a kidney failure. Is this possible?

If your kidney function is normal, excessive greens with high potassium like spinach, Swiss chard, and bok choy won’t cause high potassium in the blood.

No, greens and high potassium intake don’t cause kidney failure.
