• Do MRIs explain why some people have vertigo?

I've been prone to vertigo since I was a teenager and I hope now that I'm older we can finally determine why. Do MRIs explain why some people have vertigo? What tests can help explain it?

It can help as there are many causes. It may be helpful to get a temporal bone CT to look for semicircular canal dehiscence.

They can. Also CT. Find a good ENT or neurologist and go from there. Vertigo can be from many things.

All the best,
