• Do ovarian cysts cause any odors?

I'm worried that I have an ovarian cyst because of some symptoms that I've been having. I plan on getting it checked out by a doctor. Now, there's a weird odor coming from my vagina. Is it possible for ovarian cysts to cause any odors?

Sometimes. It is not always. It depends on what kind of ovarian cyst.

Good Afternoon,
Good question. Ovarian cysts do not cause odors. A vaginal odor is usually the result of an infection. Your doctor will most likely take vaginal cultures during your visit.

No. Ovarian cysts are internal within your pelvis and therefore you wouldn't have any odor. A perceivable odor is likely coming from a vaginal infection.

No, ovarian cysts do not cause any vaginal odors. There is another cause such as vaginitis.

Ovarian cysts do not cause vaginal odor. Vaginal odor is most commonly caused by bacterial vaginosis or a sexually transmitted infection. See your doctor and ask for a vaginal swab which can then be analyzed in a laboratory to identify the cause of your odor. Then the appropriate treatment can be prescribed.
