I am a 28 year old female and I learned I have anemia. Do I need to see a doctor regularly?

Annually. Take Ferrett's and Vitamin C 2,000 mg daily. Check Vitamin B12 and Folate level. Check Iron panel.

If you don't respond to IRON supplements (i.e., for iron deficiency anemia that menstruating women can get), then you need to see a doctor for diagnosis and proper advice and treatment.

Yes, you should see a physician to figure out what is causing the anemia so it can be treated properly. The most common cause of anemia in a young female who gets her period is iron deficiency which can often be treated with oral iron supplements but there are many other causes of anemia that are treated differently.
