• Do you typically look better after plastic surgery?

I want to have breast implants because my breasts aren't the same size and it's really noticeable. Are plastic surgeries typically successful? Will I look better?

Hello,

The whole point of cosmetic and plastic surgery is to make the patient look and more importantly feel better about themselves. Otherwise, what’s the point? However, you need to feel comfortable with your surgeon and trust him/her fully. You also have to follow all instructions for best results.
Good luck!!!! You can also visit my website at DrRoya.com for further information.

Thank you for writing to us. Plastic Surgery Procedures performed by well trained and Board Certified Plastic Surgeons are generally very safe. Your individual medical history and physical condition needs to be taken into consideration at a consultation with a surgeon described above.

There’s a possibility you may need a breast lift in addition to implants. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.

We can image you to see how your breasts will look before and after augmentation. Will they look better? That is up to the viewer -- there is no classification of better. The surgery is usually quick and successful and patients are satisfied. We hope they will look the way you want, so that way they will look "better."

Yes. Make sure the doctor is board certified in plastic surgery and has experience. This should be a happy experience for you.

Hello,

Your desire for improved symmetry of the breast is a great reason for a breast augmentation. Routinely, the appearance of the breast after the procedure are much improved. Today’s breast implants are made in several different shapes and sizes. This variability allows better individually tailored results. This is a personal choice and worth discussing. I hope this helps.

Of course breast implants can correct your asymmetry.

This is such a broad question that a specific answer is impossible. Breast augmentation is a common procedure and when performed well and conservatively by a properly trained and Board Certified plastic surgeon, the results are excellent and the patients are pleased. However there are many variables particularly when trying to make dissimilar breast look the same. You need to make an appointment with a surgeon and discuss your options and if possible look at before and after photos with him to see what you can reasonably expect.

Thank you for the question. In my experience, yes they do. The assymetries can be corrected by choosing the correct size implant for each breast, to obtain symmetry. My personal recommendation is to choose a silicone filled implant. It provides a more nTural feel. However, this is a topic to be discussed with your surgeon.
Good luck.
