I am a 31 year old female. I want to know if a baby's heartbeat changes during pregnancy?

Some variability in fetal heart rate is normal and healthy. However, sudden/prolonged decreases in heart rate, or irregular or very fast heart beats are not normal and need to seek obstetrical attention.

Yes. Typically in early gestation a babies heart rate is 160 to 170 beats per minute. Just before delivery the heart rate is typically 120 to 140 beats per minute.
