I need to have an MRI scan of my brain because of my chronic headaches. Will it show any tumors?

MRI of the brain particularly with and without contrast is the best imaging modality to pick up brain tumors and other abnormalities. Additionally, an MRA sequence will pick up vascular abnormalities such as aneurysms. The MRA sequence adds very little time to the examination length.

Yes, an MRI of the brain is the most sensitive way to look for any tumors.
