You just have to get used to the new set of dentures. The retention depends on the amount of bone you have. You can have the dentures adjusted if they hurt.

Good day,

The new denture should fit your current anatomy, it shouldn't cause pain or discomfort. You can also request your dentist to make the denture as similar as possible to your current denture.

Kind regards,

It always takes some time to get used to new prostheses. Your dentist should be able to make adjustments to get you comfortable.

Nothing to worry about if your mouth is healthy.

New dentures usually hurt, which is why a dentist will appoint a new denture patient for a visit the day after delivery and a week after. Once the denture is adjusted, it should not hurt.
