I have just read an article about detox benefits. I have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and IBS. It didn’t state what is entailed. Where would I find an effective detox programme?

Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and IBS are similar yet very different
None have a “disease specific treatment”
I know of no credible evidence pointing to its efficacy in treating fibromyalgia

I believe that fibromyalgia per se does not exist. it is always due to underling cause such as Celiac disease amongst many other causes.

You would need to contact a doctor who specializes in functional medicine. I do not.

I am not aware of a detox program for FMS. However, a plant-based diet, water aerobics, behavioral therapy, yoga, meditation, and good sleep hygiene are most beneficial.

Hello!

Thanks for your question. I would say your best bet is with a wellness doctor or clinic.

Good luck!

FDA has approved no detox for fibromyalgia nor has the ACR."Detox" is used to refer to removing a drug of abuse to which a patient is addicted and then managing the acute withdrawal symptoms.

Read about medical treatments in NIH.org, Mayoclinic.org or Johnshopkins.org, Infusions or oral treatments have risks without well defined proven benefits except to the people profiting by the procedure.
