I have all the symptoms, including frequent thirst and urination. My family has a history of diabetes, and my father died from it because he never knew how to manage it. I'm making an appointment with my family doctor to confirm whether or not I have diabetes, but will he help me manage it? Would I have to be referred to a different specialist?
