I've had seasonal allergies my whole life. They are really bad every year, some years worse than others. Is there anything at all I can do to get rid of them forever?
Yes there are very good vaccines which have a high probability (not 100% certainty) of "curing your allergy.
If your allergies are seasonal, allergy skin testing could identify specifically what your sensitivities are. Then an allergy specialist could discuss the possibility of immunotherapy as a treatment.(allergy shots). Immunotherapy is the closest “cure” we have thus far. Certain forms of sublingual immunotherapy are an option too. If you haven’t seen an Allergy specialist, you should.
I am a registered dietitian - from my experience and knowledge, when working at an allergy center, you should consult your allergist about beginning allergy shots to desensitize your immune system to specific triggers.
