My friend took abortion pills and thereafter had heavy bleeding which stopped on its own. Does she require a D&C?

No, not unless bleeding does not reduce and/or if she is feeling faint or dizzy.

If pregnancy test is negative and there is no more bleeding she doesn’t need D and C

Sometimes a d and c is needed. She should follow up with her gynecologist or the person who gave her the medication for an exam.

She should follow up with her doctor. Heavy bleeding is not unusual, but her doctor may consider an ultrasound to decide whether more medicine or a D&C is needed.
