Use warm salt water and keep the area cleaned and covered

No smoking or drinking through a straw. Eating soft foods, taking antibiotics.

You can’t make it heal faster unless you have a good line on stem cells . . . Make sure you keep it clean to avoid infection.

For the first 24 hours, you should not rinse your mouth. No spitting, no sucking soda through a straw or drinking soda out of a can. You were given instructions. Don't chew on the surgical site. Rinse your mouth with warm salt water, especially after eating. We are conditioned via our computers to expect INSTANT GRATIFICATION. Our bodies heal on their own time.

Follow the protocol that your dentist had given you.

Hello,

Unfortunately healing after a tooth extraction is a pretty specific biological task (only your body can do it). That being said you can certainly do things to help your body heal the quickest. After the first 24 hours you can rinse with warm salt water which will help keep the area clean and allow you to heal the fastest you can heal. Hope this helps.

Best of luck to you!
