Depends on the origin of the foot pain. foot pain is not normal, root cause of the pain has to be diagnosed and identify and begin treatment before pain will subside. please seek local podiatrist for consult and hope you'll return to your quality of life soon.

Depends where the pain is located. Usually a good pair of shoes that will control your foot motion helps or even a custom orthotic. I do 3D scan of the foot to get the best custom orthotics for people. Sometimes chronic pain can also be treated with injections if it is something like plantar fasciitis, heel pain, tendon pain or arthritis. A good exam by a podiatrist will be able to tell you what your pain is coming from.

There are many causes of foot pain. From tendonitis to ligament problems to other soft tissue injuries, and from bone contusions to fractures and sprains, and from nerve problems to low back and spine issues. It is impossible for me to tell you how to get relief if we are unsure what is wrong with you. Go and be evaluated by a specialist.

I recommend you make an appointment with a foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist) to determine your diagnosis and the appropriate treatment.

It depends what the chronic foot pain is coming from. Sometimes arch supports can be beneficial depending on the diagnosis. Sometimes X-rays are needed to diagnose chronic foot pain as well. Would recommend evaluation by podiatrist.
