Depends where the pain is located. Usually a good pair of shoes that will control your foot motion helps or even a custom orthotic. I do 3D scan of the foot to get the best custom orthotics for people. Sometimes chronic pain can also be treated with injections if it is something like plantar fasciitis, heel pain, tendon pain or arthritis. A good exam by a podiatrist will be able to tell you what your pain is coming from.

There are many causes of foot pain. From tendonitis to ligament problems to other soft tissue injuries, and from bone contusions to fractures and sprains, and from nerve problems to low back and spine issues.
