• How can I tell if my kids are at risk for sickle cell anemia?

Sickle cell anemia runs in my family, so I'm worried that my kids can develop it. I don't have it though, but I am a carrier of the gene. How can I check if they are at risk?

If you don't have sickle cell, but his father has it, he has a 50% chance of getting the disease, but if his father dose not have the disease, he should not get the disease.
