It needs to be diagnosed before any treatment advice can be given.

Hello,

You may try application of bacitracin ointment with a q-tip three times a day. However, if the sore worsens, you have more difficulty breathing, or pain worsens, you must go see an ENT physician as it can become life-threatening.

The most common reason that he may be experiencing something like this is inflammation of the hair follicles inside the nose, a condition known as nasal vestibulitis.
If this is the situation, this often is treated with antibiotic ointment and sometimes even an oral course of antibiotics if the situation does not resolve.
However, it is definitely worth having an otolaryngologist look at the area to rule out other possibilities such as a growth, benign or even malignant. Outside of nasal vestibulitis, the most common thing that I had seen in this region are verrucae, warts.

Obtain Bactroban ointment. Apply with q-tip 2-3 times away. If doesn't heal, see ENT

Most nasal sores are due to irritation and inflammation of the follicles inside the nasal aperture. Use of a topical antibiotic 2 times per day on the area should quiet down the discomfort.
