How contagious is cellulitis?
My skin looks really swollen and red around my leg, and when you touch it it feels a little hot. My mom thinks this could be cellulitis. Is this really contagious? How serious is cellulitis?

Cellulitis is not transmitted through skin contact, so it is not contagious. Cellulitis is very dangerous and a person can become severely sick and even die from it. It requires treatment with antibiotics as soon as possible.
