How do I prepare my kid for a hematology consultation?
My son is 7 years old and he is going to have a consultation with a hematologist. He's scared, because this is happening after his blood test found some abnormalities with his white blood cells. How do I prepare my kid for a hematology consultation? What can I do to make him less nervous?

Tell him that you will see a new doctor and don't worry. He may need more blood tests and may need bone marrow aspiration for diagnosis and treatment.
