It's best to be evaluated by a specialist

Pain is a symptom. The cause of the pain is what needs to be evaluated.

Toe pain can be treated by splinting to another toe could have jammed the toe and the joint is painful. If it is arthritis a stiffer soled shoe will be of benefit. I would recommend seeing a podiatrist to find the right diagnosis for your toe pain.

It depends on what is causing your toe pain. You may have structural deformities, such as hammer toes, which cause joint pain and sometimes nerve-related pain into the toes. You may have ill-fitting shoes. You may require orthotics. It is impossible to tell without you having a medical evaluation by a professional who specializes in foot and ankle pathology.

Thank you for your question. However, it is impossible to even begin to give this type of an answer because it is too vague. "Toe pain" commonly needs to be evaluated by your local podiatric physician. Please make an appointment and they can give you choices or answers for "toe pain."

Thank you,
