• How does the smoothbeam laser work?

I have a lot of acne issues and I'm considering getting smoothbeam laser treatment to get rid of it. How does it really work?

Save your money. A lot of these kinds of relatively expensive bells and whistles, so-called "next big thing" devices are supported far more by intense marketing hype than any hard science. You don't say whether your acne is mild, moderate or severe, so I really cannot comment more specifically. What I can say is that in many, if not most cases, acne can be treated effectively and relatively inexpensively by the appropriate use of prescription strength medications under the supervision of a dermatologist--a whole lot more cost effective and proven approach than jumping to the next "in" device to come along.

Lasers work by targeting one of three things. It targets hemoglobin (blood), water, or pigment.
