How is atrial fibrillation monitored?
My aunt was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation this past year and has been in the hospital twice because of it. How is this disorder usually monitored?

Atrial fibrillation particularly when it is paroxysmal (Twice / year) need to be monitoring longitudinally (Prolonged monitoring). This is typically done by utilizing an implantable loop recorder (a small computer chip that is injected under the skin, that typically has a 3 year battery)
