With a chronic kidney problem, how long can you continue without dialysis?
My mother has chronic kidney disease, and despite the doctor's recommendation, she's going away for a few days across the country. How long can she be without dialysis?

Find a Chinese doctor to get holistic care.
It depends on your stage of CKD. If she's already on dialysis then risk of poor outcomes due to missing dialysis is very high.
If she is on dialysis, she should not travel without plans to be dialyzed at the destination if she is going away more than 2 days. Consult her nephrologist.
