Shingles takes about a month to totally resolve; usually 10 to 14 days to get crusted. Healing is shortened by starting on acyclovir or valacyclovir or famciclovir, with a lessening of pain as well. Important to know that there is now a vaccine, called Shingrix, which is a two shot series separated by 2 months. I got it, my husband got it and feel much better about decreasing the risk of shingles. Anyone over 50 can get it and I strongly recommend it. Best dr M

In people with a normal immune system and who receive treatment soon after the outbreak of the rash, it typically lasts 3-5 weeks until skin rash heals and the pain subsides.

No guaranteed cure for shingles or high bp. Best chance is to use combination of med and acupuncture. Go see a specialist.

On average, 2 to 4 weeks, but the pain from the Shingle (post-heretic neuralgia) can last months and years depending on how severe was the Shingle.
