I have a young child with chronic weakness and pain?
My 7 year old son has chronic weakness and musculoskeletal pain. He has felt this way for 2 weeks now. What specialist should I see for a child suffering from this?

I would still start with primary care but Pediatric Rheumatology may be necessary
Start with your regular pediatrician. If that doesn't work, see a neurologist. Hopefully, this is something that is self limiting and will pass, but you need to see the pediatrician.

You could start with his pediatrician but he may need to see a neurologist or podiatrist for testing to rule out various causes of his pain and weakness.
