Is ibuprofen enough for pediatric kidney stones?
My son is only 12 years old and has a kidney stone. However, it's not very big so the doctors said that he doesn't need surgery and can take ibuprofen to help him pass it. Is this enough to help him though? What happens if he has difficult passing the stone?

Ibuprofen is good for pain. If he cannot pass the stone and starts vomiting he will need IV fluids and stronger pain meds
