Is laser treatment needed after a torn retina?
I was diagnosed with a torn retina during my last appointment, last week. We haven't discussed treatment yet. Would I need laser treatment for this?

Laser is commonly needed. See an ophthalmologist.
Yes. Usually that is what is done unless there is already a retinal detachment in which case more extensive surgery is performed
If laser treatment is offered, it will be a good choice and safe.
