• Is the HPV vaccine compulsory for kids?

HPV vaccine i have read is a protector against cancer. I have a son who is 4 years old now. Should i get him vaccinated by HPV? We don't have a history of cancer in our family, is it still necessary to get the vaccination done?

CACCINATION IS DONE AROUND THE AGE OF 12, STILL TOO EARLY
PLEASE TALK TO YOUR CHILD PEDIATRICIAN ABOUT ANY DOUBT YOU MAY HAVE

Hello!

I am a believer of vaccination and I personally have been vaccinated with the HPV vaccine. I believe HPV has recommendations that it should be vaccinated between certain age range for optimum effect. I advise to ask his pediatrician or primary care provider and if he is in that age range already.

Hope this helps

You should ask your pediatrician.

It is not compulsory but I highly recommend getting vaccinated against the known strains of HPV. This does not need to occur just yet in your son but I would consider it when he turns 10 years old.
I hope this was helpful.

Cheers,
Neal
