• It feels like I have something under my skin, what could it be?

I saw that a rising came up on the bottom of my stomach, and it's very red and painful. What could this be, and will I need it removed?

It is hard to say, but is likely a hernia. Would see your doctor and try to lose weight if you are overweight. Also stop smoking if you smoke. Why? If it is a hernia and you do need surgery, you do not want this to come back.

Skin infection. Show a doctor immediately.

It could be folliculitis (an infected hair follicle) or other skin infection. I would recommend seeing a primary care physician or dermatologist. If it continues to swell or drain, you may need to go to the emergency department.
