My daughter got an insect bite last night
My daughter was bitten in the face 3 times throughout the night by something, not sure if it’s a spider bite or a different insect. Can you tell me any information on a spider bite? Her face is swollen, red and blotchy.

It looks like a large local reaction to a mosquito. They usually occur on exposed areas. I do not see any necrosis in the center of the bite like you usually see with spider bite. Give benadryl by mouth and put hydrocortisone cream on the red areas. spray her room yhou flying insects and consider insect spray on her if she goes out afer the sun goes down.
