• My haemoglobin count is low. Could it be due to my heavy menstrual flow?

I have been suffering from a lot of weakness for the last 2 months and my menstrual flow is also heavier than normal with severe cramps in the stomach. I did a recent blood test report which detected low haemoglobin count. Could there be a connection between haemoglobin and heavy menstruation?

Yes, for sure. Take iron.

Anemia is common in women with heavy menses. You can take iron supplements to improve it.
