• I had a fall and my hip ball socket came off. Will I be able to walk normally ever?

I am a 35 year old woman and I had a major fall where my hip ball socket came off. Will it become a permanent disability or will I be able to walk normally ever again?

Yes you will be able to walk normal again with proper care.

Hi,

Yes, you will be able to walk back normal. The ball can be put back to the socket usually by manipulation technique by a PT or via minor surgical procedure by ortho doctor (in case if it’s severe).

This is not a common thing to happen after fall, however if you have the joint back to its place with or without surgery, you will need some physical therapy after that and that should help you, will be able to walk very much normal,

Yes you will walk again, but you need to do a good physical therapy after you have your hip back in place.

Assuming you are a normal healthy young woman with no other complicating issues, I think you will be able to walk just fine after the proper amount of therapy

You should be able to walk again normally. The time it takes to get there is the question. It depends on how the tissues respond to the repair and if any other structures were involved in the fall.

You should not have any problem walking except there are other issues
