• Can natural medicines help in treating kidney disorders?

My father has been suffering from chronic kidney disease and we would like to know if he should use any alternative methods to supplement treatment. I want him to be as comfortable as possible.

There is no natural medicine to treat kidney disease. In turn, sometimes it can be harmful. Try to be on a low-salt diet. Also, avoid processed food, especially processed meat, medicines which are not good to kidneys like ibuprofen, naproxen, aleve etc. Control blood pressure, blood sugar, lipids, etc.

Absolutely, the acupuncture and herbal medicine are more effective on kidneys.
