I've been keeping up with my oral hygiene pretty well, I brush twice a day and floss almost after every meal. But is there anything else that I should be doing to prevent any dental issues?

Good for you for keeping up with basic oral hygiene! Other factors to keep in mind is to limit sugary snacks and keep a healthy lifestyle like avoid tobacco use. Also, please visit your dentist regularly (2x a year at least).
