• How should I prevent any knee injuries while playing hockey?

I play hockey almost every season, whether it's on rollerblades and skates. I wear knee pads but I feel like they're not enough to prevent any injuries. What should I do to prevent injuries from happening?

Strengthen your over legs with squats, lunges, leg press etc & that will strengthen the knees & ligaments up. The MCL are especially important

Hard to do, but all athletes benefit from a good preventative strengthening program. Mostly off season.

Make sure you have properly trained to prevent injury

A sport conditioning program is helpful. Strengthening and flexibility is important. You may get hinged knee braces to help protect your knees, but a home exercise program is very important to protect your knees. Also, a sport specific training program is very helpful. Braces cannot protect from all injuries, and wearing braces without a conditioning program may actually weaken your muscles which support your knee, thereby making your knees more vulnerable to injury.

You need to be fitted by a professional much like the NFL and NCAA teams wear!
Over the counter OTC are good braces for 60% of athletes but You need a Top of the Line Professional Brave fitted to you specifically
