I have a strange bone growth in my finger which though does not hurt, it looks odd. Will I have to undergo a surgery to cut out this bone growth?

May be a tense ganglion cyst or bone growth. Needs surgery.

I thought about answering this, but I think you need to see a doctor and not ask for advice online. A lot of things can be going on with all types of bone growths, no matter where they are in the body.

Old surgical dictum: leave well enough alone. You can't improve on asymptomatic.
