• What is a right bundle branch block? Is it something serious?

My recent ECG report indicated that I have a right bundle branch block. The doctor didn't tell me much about it. What is it supposed to be? Is it something serious that requires immediate attention?

Not serious. It is a benign abnormality.

Could be normal if you were born with it

This means the electricity flows at a slower speed from one side of the hearts electrical system. If this is new, it may need an assessment but can often occur in healthy individuals.
