• Should I go to the ER for an eye injury?

While playing baseball yesterday, the ball hit my eye and it hasn't stopped tearing ever since. The area also feels really sore. Do you think I should go to the ER for an eye injury?

Yes, you should, especially if you have any change in vision, headaches, nausea, facial pain, or swelling. A baseball can hit with enough force to cause eye injuries as well as facial fractures and other injuries. Not something to ignore.

Yes, you should, it could be a simple corneal abrasion (SCRATCH) or it could be hyphema (blood in the eye ball) and that is dangerous. Please get checked at the ER.
