• Sleeping Better?

Hello, I have a question about sleeping. I have not been sleeping well, I go to sleep my eyes do get drowsy but for some reason, my eyes do not fully close when I sleep. I do dream and am able to operate and have normal body functions. Sometimes I am too anxious when I am up. Should I take sleeping pills or how can I improve my sleep?

My sleep has been affecting my health too as I have been losing weight as well. I am currently underweight and have been eating to gain weight.

Young people who cannot sleep usually have hormonal imbalances. Hyperthyroidism could account for all your symptoms. Avoid all stimulants like coffee, energy drinks and even real licorice which can all cause over-stimulation of the nervous system and lead to sleep cycle disruption. See a physician and have your thyroid and adrenals checked.
