• I wake up with sore feet every morning. How can I treat it?

My feet feel extremely sore and painful right when I step out of bed. Can physical therapy or exercises of any kind help me relieve this pain?

It sounds like you have plantar fasciitis. Orthotics and various apparatus that stretch the calf and arch can help- but they can be quite annoying. An alternative is to gently stretch the tissues by standing and slowly increasing the stretch to the point of discomfort. Once the pain has subsided you can get a better stretch by standing with the ball of the foot on the edge of a step. To get a better stretch you can pull your ankle and toes up while so weight-bearing.

Physical therapy can help you. Is the pain under the bottom of your foot?

Looks like you are showing signs of Plantar fasciitis. Yes, physical therapy can help you with that.

You need to have a diagnosis first, possibly some blood work as well. That could be a condition called peripheral neuropathy. Please see your primary care.
Thanks.

Yes. You may be developing plantar fascitis, you might just have tight calf muscles or your pain could be coming from you low back. See a PT can help determine the right course of action. Meanwhile, do a calf stretch as soon as you get up to see if that helps.

Yes. You may want to attempt a foot bath before going to bed and a hot shower in the mornings. This may ease some of the symptoms.

There may be many reasons why this happens. You should see your physical therapist before doing any type of exercise
